When can I get into my self-storage unit?
The gates at Fortress Self Storage are open 7 days a week from 7:00am – 7:00pm, 365 days per year. Our helpful on-site managers are available between 9:00am and 6:00pm daily, except on holidays.
Who will have access to my storage unit?
You use your own lock and key, so only you will have access to your assigned self-storage unit.
How big are your self-storage units?
Fortress Self Storage has many unit sizes available to fit your needs. Units start as small as a 5’ x 5’ (25 sq. ft. or the equivalent of a large closet) and go up to 10’ x 30’ (300 sq. ft. or a large one car garage). If you are unsure of the size you require, we are happy to help you make the best choice for your specific requirements.
Where can I get packing and other moving supplies?
Fortress Self Storage sells everything you need to pack and properly store all of your items, including boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap and labels. We also sell high quality locks to safeguard your storage unit.
How long of a contract do I have to sign for?
Convenient month-to-month contracts are available. We will work with you to find the best storage unit for your needs and price range.
How much notice to must be given when I move out?
Fortress Self Storage requires a one (1) day notice to move out. Full details on the vacating policy will be provided to you when you move your items into storage.
Fortress Self Storage charges a monthly rate for its self-storage units. Rates vary depending on the size of the unit, but are as low as $60 per month. Payment required at move-in includes the first month’s fee, a one-month security deposit and a one time administration fee of $10. The security deposit, equal to your monthly fee, is refundable within 30 days after move out.
How do I pay Fortress Self Storage?
Payments can be processed by mail, in person or by automatic payment deduction from your credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, checks and cash.
Are there any items that I can’t store in my storage unit?
We trust that you will use common sense regarding what you store in your Fortress storage unit. In general, you should never store firearms, illicit drugs or drug paraphernalia, live animals, perishables, liquids, explosives, flammable liquids and fuels, toxic materials, or other items that need a controlled environment.
